Toni Benecchi graduated cum laude from New Jersey City University with a BA in Music Education. She then went on to earn her Suzuki Violin Teacher Certificate from Catholic University, Washington DC. She earned her Masters of Music Degree in Music Technology at West Chester Univerisity, PA.
In her 34 years of teaching in public school, Toni has taught a wide variety of ages and instruments in NJ. Her experience includes, Suzuki violin, elementary band, chorus and orchestra, as well as middle school and high school orchestra.
She shares her gift of song writing and her love of worship music as she plays the violin and guitar and sings with Synergy at Trinity United Methodist Church in Mullica Hill. She has collaborated with Judy Skeels on the CD’s “Healing Light”, “Christmas Synergy”, "Threads of Courage" and "SYNERGIZED"which will be released in October 2017.
In addition, Toni plays violin and mandolin with Margie MacWilliams in their group Allegra. Their CD, “Mist on the Moors” is a collection of original and classic Celtic Music.
When she is not making music she can be found clowning around as Toni Baloney the Clown.
